Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a form of treatment that is used to replace hormones in the body that are lost during menopause. HRT helps to restore estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone levels in the body, relieving menopause symptoms like hot flashes and insomnia, as well as reducing the risk of osteoporosis, heart disease, and depression. HRT for women can also provide cognitive benefits and clear the ‘brain fog’ that’s commonly associated with menopause.
For maximum effectiveness, Elite Health HRT only provides HRT and TRT treatments via intramusclar injection (IM), which are typically administered into the buttocks or hip. Time between dosages may vary, but most patients receive their treatments every 7-10 days. You may come into our clinic and we’ll administer treatment for you, or you can ask if you’re eligible for at-home treatments. In that case, you may purchase up to 4 doses (usually a month’s supply) and take them home with you.
Please avoid starting HRT without the consulting and supervision of a medical professional. Women should avoid taking other medications that can interact with HRT, such as blood thinners, steroid medications, and anticoagulants. Additionally, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not take HRT.
